DMCA Copyright Policy

realestatemaps.app ("we," "us," or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. §512 ("DMCA").

1. Filing a Takedown Notice

If you believe that content available through realestatemaps.app (the "Service") infringes a copyright you own or control, you may submit a written notification to our Designated Agent that includes substantially the following, per 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3):

1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner. 2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered by a single notification. 3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (e.g., a URL). 4. Your contact information — address, telephone number, and email address. 5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. 6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Notices that do not substantially comply with the above may not receive a response.

2. Our Response

Upon receipt of a valid notification, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the identified material and will make reasonable efforts to notify the user who posted or is responsible for it.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe material you posted was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our Designated Agent containing:

1. Your physical or electronic signature. 2. Identification of the material removed or disabled and its location before removal. 3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification. 4. Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, for any judicial district in which realestatemaps.app may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or their agent.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may forward it to the original complaining party. If that party does not notify us within 10 business days that it has filed a court action seeking to restrain the user from engaging in the infringing activity, we may restore the removed material.

4. Repeat Infringers

We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.

This policy addresses copyright takedown and counter-notification. It does not limit our separate prohibition on circumventing access controls, rate limits, or other technical protection measures of the Service, including as prohibited by 17 U.S.C. §1201 — see our [Terms of Service](/terms), §5 (Acceptable Use) and §11 (DMCA / Copyright Infringement Notification).
